NFL players are not only sports addicts, they’re also car fanatics. On the field – awards and Super Bowl rings. Off the field – Ferraris, Mustangs, BMWs, and Rolls-Royces. These professional players are raking in millions a year; what’s a few hundred thousand dollars to spend on a car?

Here’s a look at some of the sickest cars in the league.

LeGarrette Blount: Custom Chevy Caprice

A beloved and famous Super Bowl champion, LeGarrette Blount has one of the sickest rides in the NFL. This athlete bought his custom Chevy Caprice back when he was just a rookie playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The lucky guy has been given opportunities to ride Land Rovers that aren’t even available to the general public yet. One of the cars he bought from Land Rover is a red Range Rover Evoque. The reason he chose red is that he wanted to draw people’s attention. Despite wanting to be the center of attention, he tinted his windows so that people wouldn’t know it was him.

Larry Fitzgerald: Mercedes-Benz SL550

Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best wide receivers in American football, and his impressive speed is shown off and on the football field. When he is not busy with touchdowns, Fitzgerald is cruising around town in his silver Mercedes-Benz SL550.

Cam Newton: 1970 Oldsmobile 442

This quarterback owns one of the most insane cars owned by an NFL player. Cam Newton (who plays for the Carolina Panthers) owns a customized 1970 Oldsmobile. He gave it the moniker – “Goldsmobile” because it is plated in 24 karat gold.

However, we do know that it’s worth A LOT, an amount that only a great NFL player can afford.

Drew Brees: Bugatti Veyron

New Orleans Saints’ Drew Brees loves his vehicles fast and furious. He owns five flashy cars, with his most expensive one being a Bugatti Veyron. With such a fast ride, he has found himself in a few run-ins with the law. He’s also suffered several crashes that could have been fatal.

Rudy Gay – Dodge Challenger SRT

Rudy Gay is another NBA Basketballer who would rather go for American muscle over Italian brawn. Rudy’s Dodge Challenger SRT is insane, with a V8 engine capable of putting out about 470bhp. This car’s aggressive style is enhanced by its design.

It has a navy-blue matte wrap and sports jet-black wheels. Rudy Gay’s ride also has a UConn Husky logo imprinted on it, which we think looks extremely cool. This car is as slick as it gets; just look at it! All-black with tinted windows, there’s nothing smoother than that.

Kyle’s car is shiny black and has some pimped-out red wheels. His vehicle is worth a little over $100,000. This price is absurd compared to the money he spent when he was just a little lad in college, struggling to pay for a $1,500 Honda.
