In the Spotlight From the Start
As the third child of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian Sr., Khloe Kardashian was only seven when her parents divorced, and Kris married Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce). Even before the cameras came into their home, the Kardashians garnered public attention when Robert Sr. became OJ Simpson’s defense lawyer.
At just ten years old, Khloe had to choose sides between her mom and dad as they sat on different sides of the courtroom during the infamous murder trial. It was a lot to comprehend for such a young child, and it shaped her outlook on life. It also affected her self-esteem.

She Almost Went to Rehab
When Khloe’s father died in 2003, it took her down a dark path. She was only 19 when he passed away, and it hit her the hardest. Khloe said she was an emotional wreck at his funeral because she didn’t want to believe he was gone.
She then started drinking to “drown her sorrows.” Khloe said, “The partying got so out of hand. I was underage and behaving recklessly in clubs and at private parties.” Her binge drinking turned into binge eating, and she considered going to rehab but got a handle on things.
